1)WOW! It's been long time since I've blogged and I must say that I missed you all in the blog world. Where do I begin? Let me begin with my Cowboys. We are looking pretty good even if we have lost two more games.
2) Ok, the next event that occurred last month was one of the most important moments in my life. That event was my ordination. I never thought I would be a pastor. I guess you can't run from God's calling on your life, but I'm willing to do whatever he wants my to do.
3) I quit my job last month and it was the easy because of the extreme stress level, but hard because I met a lot of good people there, and I can truly say that I will miss them. I gave up a good paying job, and a great opportunity to answer the call that God has for my life. I am now working at Florida Christian School as a maintenance worker. It's not that most glamorous, but it is a great opportunity for me to go back to school and finish. Also, I am able to spend so much more time with my family.
4) Of course, how can I forget Christmas? Let's just say my boys were so cute. ( Read Vicky's Blog for more info.)
TIME OUT !!!!! Happy New YEAR!!!! (It just became 2008)
5) Last, but not least, my buddy Huber finally made it down to Miami and it was really awesome to see him again. He was injured in Iraq. I thank God that he had His hand on his life.
Before I go, let me just leave you with this; Happy New Year and May God Bless You and your Families
Good Night!

My Hero
Two weeks ago I had the distinct honor and privilege to meet one of our nation's finest, Jeremiah Barham of the US Army. He is currently serving to protect our nation on the front lines in Northern Afghanistan. Tomorrow his two week leave is over and he will return there to continue his mission until August of 2008.
This morning at student ministry he played and sang a special song that he had written with his former band. The song talked about God's forgiveness and endless mercy. While watching him sing, a combination of emotions welled up within me and some others. Seeing him sing to our students, I feel the special calling on Jeremiah's life... I feel in my heart that Lord will do great things through this 24 year old soldier.
He has already seen and been in some very dangerous situations and has lost some of his commanders and friends. What a blessing to see a young man of God with so much courage and strength even in the midst of danger.
Please continue to keep him and those serving beside him in your prayers. Also, pray for the Barhams and the Ramos' (Jo, Carl, Joshua, Sara, Jonathan, Peter, and Megan).

A Day With My Little Guy.
Ok, It was "United Nations Day" or something @ Josh's school on Wednesday afternoon, and I must admit it was the most fun that I've had in a long time. When I first got there, Josh was playing with his best friend, Thomas the Train. That did not last too long, because when he saw me he dropped his friend and ran as fast as he could over to me. I think that it must have been the longest hug Josh has ever given me. Josh does not hug for very long. I love my boys, and I cherish every moment that I get to spend with Jon and Josh. I thank God for my boys.

Eddie
I wanted to share what my wife wrote in her blog about the loss of my friend Eddie.
Today our dear friend Eddie went to be with our Heavenly father. He was only 24 married to a wonderful woman, Danette and had his whole life set before Him. But the Lord had other plans for His life. We here on earth don't understand the loss of someone so young, but we will some day know the answer when we meet up with Eddie in Heaven.
Our hearts hurt because of his death and break for the pain the family is going through. Our peace comes from knowing that Eddie is now in Heaven with our Savior. He no longer has to fight the cancer that ravaged his body.
When my mom called me this morning to tell me that today would probably Eddie's last day, I started searching my heart and my soul for words of comfort from the scripture. I kept thinking of Psalms 23 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
It's days like these that make me want to hold and hug my children forever. It also brings me back to the moment I almost lost my husband in the car accident. I can only begin to comprehend the pain that Eddie's family is going through. Today hug your family and friends and tell them how much you love them. Make every moment count. Most importantly make sure you are ready to meet the Lord.

It Happened!
I can’t believe it happened! Today I am now an old man. Today I had a birthday! You my ask yourself; what is he crying about? Well, I turned thirty today. The big 30. September was always one of the months that I looked forward to. Not anymore. From now on, it’s nothing but hair loss, name calling, and memory loss.
I know you must be asking yourself, name calling? Yeah! Name calling. You know, Old Man, Old Geezer, and who can’t forget Grandpa!! Yes, that’s right; it’s all down hill from now on. I guess I just have to suck it up!!! Oh well, Thank God I still have a HOT wife!!!!!
Let me tell you a little about her. Not only is she hot! She is also amazing. She is an awesome Mom and an awesome wife. Here is just of many stories about my best friend. >
About three years ago, I was hit by a drunk driver. (I’m trying my best not to lose it right now.) She became my strength, my support, and my care giver. She did every thing. With the man tears coming down my face right now, I thank the almighty God for her. She did it all. God gave her the strength and she cowgirl-ed up. I love this woman. I can't believe that my loving God has blessed me with the honor of taking care of her. Baby, if you are reading this; I love you. I love you with all of my heart, and I thank God that I am able to enjoy my thirtieth birthday with my two boys, but most importantly with my best friend. I love you.

Extreme Makeover Lima, Peru
This is the e-mail from my Father-in-law, Derwin Brigham to my Suegra (Mother-in-Law) writing about last night when they revealed the "brand new" orphanage to the girls in Lima.
Well this is our last day in Peru. I think I'm the only person from our team up at this time (7:30). They all get to sleep in. The sun woke me up. I ate breakfast and thought I'd send you one more e-mail.
After church yesterday we went directly to the orphanage and did our finishing touches. We had to be ready by 5:00 and then by 7:00 they brought in the girls. It was so exciting. the little girls went crazy and the older ones cried. Of course I did too, along with everyone else on our team. I watched as they opened their gifts to see which one was the one we bought our gift for. I took many pictures to share with you. So at one point I went up to her (Carolina) and told her I had given her that gift. She was so grateful. What a blessing. Then they took the girls to their rooms. I wish you could have been there. I'm crying now just thinking about it. They couldn´t believe it. One 16 year old girl spoke English and she just laid back in her bed and said, "Oh, there is so much room, and so soft!" Well, the revealing of the home went on for about an hour more and then we had to leave. The caretaker of the home spoke to us as a group and expressed her feelings. I cried again. She thanked God for all the work we had done and I heard the fulfillment of 2 Cor. 9.(the ending verses). Finally on the way out the girl we gave our gift to, Carolina, came up to me speaking through a translator, and ask for my e-mail so I gave it to her. I think by then she had time to read your note. So, what ever you said must had touched her heart.
Well today we get be tourist and to go to the market place. Then about 3:00 we have to be at the airport and it won´t belong we´ll be headed home.
All my love to you,
Derwin

The Chosen Ones! Here we are, The Doral Student Ministry in action. At our outreach at Doral High School we passed out 500 FRC backpacks and info cards. The FRC praise team was also apart of this back to school barbque. This was an awesome opportunity that God opened for us to minister at that school.
On that note, I just want to say that we are blessed to have an awesome campus pastor. Pastor Igor has been a major support not only for our group bur for me and my family. We are thankful for his dedication to serving our community.

One More time!
It was a hot stuffy afternoon when my wife and I discovered that Josh had a fever of 103.6. It was another trip to the emergency. I do believe we have spent a total of 300,000,000.00 hours in the emergency room. Thank God every thing went well. He does have a small ear infection. It's just another day with the Aguirre's

Going For A Ride Today!
Things got a little crazy today in the office, and so I took my F-14 Tomcat for a spin and took a load off. What do you guys think? Nice set of wings don't you think? I just needed to get out of the office for a few seconds.
Anyways, Just to let everyone know that Danny Angel (one of our leaders) gave us an awesome message about he's life yesterday at church. He spoke from his heart, and shared with us all that God has done in he's life. I thank God for what he has done in the lives of our leaders and our students.
Praise God!!

A Daddy's Toughest Day.
Today was the hardest day of my life. I can honestly say that man tears came out. You may be asking yourself, what is he talking about? Today Vicky and I had to take my little cowboy(Joshua) to baby school/daycare for the first time in his 18 month old life. I thought it would be easy to leave him there, but it was the hardest thing I have ever done. I held it together for the first few minitue, but then I broke. It turned out to be Daddy's Toughest Day.

God is Awesome!
PRAISE REPORTS!
PRAISE # 1.
Hey guys, check this out. God has answered prayer in our life and in our best friends lives! God gave one of our friends a second chance. Pastor Heredes had his immigration court hearing and it went better then expected! What a Praise! We need to thank the Lord for that. Heredes & Marcy had a huge hill to climb, but God took care them, and will continue to take care of them. Oh, I forgot, He also gave them an SUV. Yeah, that is! Pretty Awesome!
PRAISE # 2.
On Tuesday morning I had an appointment to see my hip doctor, and I have to admit; I was a little unsure about this visit. You see; three year ago I was hit by a drunk driver and I had my arm broken and my hip dislocated . My wife and I had been praying that we would get good news at this visit. It had been three year since the accident , and it was time for my hip to start to deteriorate. Well, that is when God stepped in! ALL of my x-rays showed that my hip was in excellent condition. The Doctor said that I should not have any problem with it for a long time. PRAISE GOD!!
PRAISE #3
God Answered our prayers about our finances as well. HE IS AWESOME !
I know that God has answered other prayer request at FRC, and we need to thank our loving God each day for that. In all that has happened this week; should show us how God takes care of us and how much he loves us.
Psalm 95:6-7
It reads" Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker, for he is our GOD and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care.
Bow and worship him for he is worthy of our praise.
Before I Jet; please keep the people of Peru in your prayers. A lot of people are hurting over there, and we need to keep them in our prayers.
Till next time, See ya'll Saturday.
